Aurilla (Posey) Tubbs, age 96 of Morris, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at UAB Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel.  Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery on the Old Tuscaloosa Road.  George Weeks will officiate.  There will be a Celebration of life for Aurilla Posey Tubbs at the Oakman  Senior Center after the interment,  8250 Market Street.

Mrs. Tubbs was preceded in death by her Husband-James Autice Tubbs; Mother-Minnie Lou Sherer Posey; Father-Rufus C. Posey; Sisters-Mary Hill, Nell Jones and Alice Johnson; Brothers-Bud Posey, Frank Posey and Cuvelar Posey; Great Grandson-Matthew James Chamness.

She is survived by her Daughters-Judy Tubbs Batson (Bill) and Joan Tubbs Miceli (Chuck); Son-Autice Wayne Tubbs; Adopted Son-Floyd Posey; Grandchildren-Michelle Akin (Rusty), Janelle Currier (Mike), Jonathan Chamness ( Jenna), Tawana Tubbs Hicks (Johnny) and Kristy Scott (Burtis); Great Grandchildren-Stephanie Alexandria Wyatt, William English Akin, Carson James Akin, Noah Reis Currier, Mary Katherine Chamness, Zachary Lee Hicks and Kendall Reed Patterson (Brandon); Great-Great Grandchild-Scarlett Riley Grace Patterson; Special friend-Carol Grigsby.

Pallbearers will be Elliott Posey, Logan Posey, Donald Wilkerson, Ricky Posey, Mike Posey and Eric Posey.
