Brenda Franks Abner of Jasper passed away peacefully at Baptist Walker Medical Center on October 10, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Ethelyn Guin Franks, and her brother, Fred Franks.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clarence Abner; her children, Paige Abner, Michael Abner, Hope Nicholson (Mitch); her 5 cherished grandchildren, Hadley Skalnik, Kaysen Parker (Taylor), Ella Brooke Abner, Cheryl Gann Abner and John Abner Nicholson and one nephew, Freddie Franks (Amanda).

The family would like to thank Amedisys Home Health and Southeast Hospice for their support and assistance over the past months.

There will be a family viewing and graveside service on Monday, October 13, 2025. Burial will be at Midway Church of Christ Cemetery.
