Christine L. Schroeder (nee Williams), age 108, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024 in Naperville, IL.

Born on October 17, 1916, to John and Pernie Williams in Jasper, AL. She lived a long and fulfilling life. She worked for 32 years at Kraft Heinz (formerly General Foods) in the Jello division in Chicago.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel.  Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Jeff Chambless and Wayne Thomas will officiate.

She is preceded in death by her parents John & Pernie Williams, her loving husband Edward, her sister Allene Dixon and her brother Donald Williams.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Millican of Naperville, IL, grandson James Bradley Millican of Aurora, IL, sister JoAnn Williams of Jasper, AL, and nephews Jerry Williams (JoAnn Ingle) of Jasper, AL, John (Maria) Williams of Jasper, AL, and Donald J. Williams of Klamath Falls, OR.

Christine's memory will be cherished by her family and all who knew her.
