Joel Dean Jones, 81, of Jasper, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 4, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Collins Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery. David Miller, Ernest McKinnon, and Joe Daniels will officiate.

Dean was a newspaper carrier for many years. She was devoted to the Lord and loved her family, especially all of her babies. Aside from this she enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

Dean was preceded in death by her Parents-Lonnie and Claytie Frame; Husband-Lonnie Jones; Daughter-Nena Jones and her Brothers-Billy Frame, Dale Frame, Robbie Frame and Jewel Frame.

She leaves behind her Son-Brian Jones (Tia); Sister-Donna Smallwood; Sister-in-law-Pat Rigsby; 6 grandchildren-Amanda Tatum, Andrew Edwards (Tiffney), Zac Jones (Darby), Kaci Martin (Josh), Hannah Jones and Nic Jones; 8 Great grandchildren-Jyllian Adams (Trent), Hunter McNiese, Brentley Pugh (Liz), Kaiden Edwards, Brookelyn McNiese, Kynlee Graham, Bryant Edwards and Annalisa Jones.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
