With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Johnathon Austin Hodge, Austin was a cherished son, fiancé, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on December 23, 2024, at the age of 25 surrounded by his family.

Austin was known best for his snide remarks, unwavering kindness, deep love for family and dedication to serve others. He was passionate about firefighting, drag racing, spending time with his daughter and fiancé and truly loved his family. He always brought joy to those around them.

He is survived by his Fiancé- Magen Fields; Daughters-Skyland Fields and Dawsyn Hodge; Mother-Amanda Hodge; Fathe-John Hodge (Stepmother-Vasana); Brother and Best Friend-Justin Hodge (Breanna); Stepfather-Brett Dawkins; Niece-Hadlee Hodge; Nephew-Waylon Hodge; and Cousins that were raised as sisters Skye Adair and Savanna and Cheyanna Hammock.

Austin was proceeded in death by his Grandmother-Sara Nelson and Uncle-Leaonard Hodge

A celebration of life will be held at Collins-Burke Funeral Home on January 4, 2025. Family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Shannon Hyche and Richard Meeks will officiate.

Austin loved volunteering at Cordova Fire and Rescue. Per his request, the family asked that you join them in the procession to Cordova Fire Department immediately following service. Lunch will be provided.
