Johnny "Reb" Mitchel McLain

Johnny "Reb" Mitchel McLain, age 76 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at his residence.

Family visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with visitation for friends beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2026 at Hunters Chapel Holy Church of Christ.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Hunters Chapel Holy Church of Christ.  Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.  Darrin Reynolds and Sam Cain will officiate.

Mr. McLain was preceded in death by his Mother-Lilly Mae McLain; Father-John Taylor McLain.

He is survived by his Wife-Brenda McLain of Jasper; Daughter-Nicole McLain  (Lucas Shubert) of Jasper; Son-Johnathan McLain of Jasper; Sisters-Faye Ivey (Charles) of Jasper, Barbara Sanford (Randy) of Jasper, Kay Tissier (James) of Jasper and Beth Crump (Scott) of Jasper; Brothers-James "Cotton" McLain (Janna) of Carbon Hill, Jackie McLain (Judy) of Jasper and Jimmy McLain (Maria) of Jasper; Grandsons-Jarrett McLain (Kilee) of Dora and John Dillon McLain of Tuscaloosa; One Great Grandchild-Sanders Sapp.
