Judith Carter Madison, age 80 of Oakman, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Madison was preceded in death by her Grandson-Bryant Jackson VanHorn; Mother and Dad-Shorty and Edith Dawkins; Daughters-Toni VanHorn and Terri Sandlin; Son-Terrell Laird; 5 Brothers and 6 Sisters.

She is survived by her Husband-Jimmy Madison of Oakman; Sister-Janice Gosa (Billy Harold) of Boldo; Son-in-law-Mike VanHorn; Grandchildren-Anthony VanHorn (Dawn) of Cordova and Taylor Ragsdale (Adam) of Sumiton; Great Grandchildren-Kara Beth and Toni Cherrie VanHorn, Alexsis, Karley, Will, Aiden and Axl Ragsdale, Jeff and Von Traweek; a host of other nieces and nephews.
