Steve Abstance, 74, of Jasper, passed away on June 28, 2026, at Ridgewood Health Services.

He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Steve loved the Lord, his family, and the Georgia Bulldogs. His greatest joy was being "Peepaw" to his 14 grandchildren. He will be loved and missed every day.

Steve was survived by his loving wife, Robin Cottrell Abstance, his children Bradley Abstance (Kristi), William Abstance (Jessica), Wesley Abstance, and stepchildren Rilee McCamy (Chris), Jake Harrison (Samantha Wilson) and 14 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, with the memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. William Abstance will officiate.
