Lawatha Aleta Nix, age 84 of Parrish, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel.  Burial will be at Mackey Boshell Cemetery.

Mrs. Nix was preceded in death by her Husband-Terrell Nix; Shirley Peppers, Martha Alice Ellis, Jeanette Key and DJ Peppers.

She is survived by her Daughters-Kathrine Knuckles (Gene), Deborah Pugh (James) and Patricia Hill (Jerry);  Son-Justin Cooley; Sister-Carolyn Freeman; 11 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren.
