Mary Katherine Carter, age 80 of Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Grandview Medical Center.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, graveside services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Leonard Rigsby will officiate.

Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her Husband-Jimmy R. Carter; Mother-Erin Sanders Galloway; Father-John Ervin Galloway; Sisters-June Galloway Hood (Bob) and Margaret Galloway Franklin (Vernon).

She is survived by her Daughter-Tracy Carter Farley (John); Son-John David Carter (Dana); Grandchildren-Addison and Luke; Sister-Martha Galloway Self (Sammy).
