Melba Melissa Freeman, age 71 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at St. Vincent's Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel.  Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery on the Fall City Road.  J.D. Dickerson will officiate.

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her Husband-Charles Freeman; Son-Adam Freeman; Great Grandchild-Carson Bailey Bean; Parents-Curtis Williams and Lizzy Williams; Brothers-Rayford Williams, Buck Williams and Sonny Williams; Sisters-Nina Nix and Diane Harris.

She is survived by her Son-Anthony Freeman (Brandi); Daughter-Amanda Tidwell; Grandchildren-Landon Freeman (Kaylee), Zachery Freeman (Victoria), Isaiah Freeman (Lydia), Abbie Bean, Allie Tidwell and Alexis Tidwell; Great Grandchildren-Ryder Freeman and Ridley Freeman; Sister-Debra Dickerson; Best Friend-Joan Walker; A host of nieces and nephews.
