Oliver Johnson, Jr. age 84 of Nauvoo passed away on Thursday, November 28th at Hendrix Health and Rehabilitation in Double Springs.  Oliver was a member of the Black Creek Lodge No. 610 for over 50 years.

Funeral services will be at New Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Nauvoo on Monday, December 2nd . Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with the funeral at 1:00 p.m.  Bro. Donny Dodd and Bro. Alex Johnson will be officiating. Graveside service will be at Ashbank Cemetery.

Oliver is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte Knight Johnson. His children, Mark Johnson (Cheryl) and Stephanie Tittle (Chad).  Grandchildren, Blaine Johnson, Reagan Henson (Chance) and Luke Tittle, and one great-grandchild, Taylor Grace Henson. Two sisters, Olivia Jordan and Geneva Saulters, and one brother, Jerry Johnson.

Oliver is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Johnson and Ethel Dodd Johnson.  Brothers, Noel E. Johnson, Olan Johnson, Otis Johnson, and Eugene Johnson. Sisters, Eulene Johnson Wallace and Peggy Johnson Dickinson.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Hendrix Health for the special care they gave to Oliver during his stay in their facility.  Oliver's children wanted to share that he was the best daddy in the world.
