Paulette Jackson Smith, age 82 of Jasper, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at her residence.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, memorial services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Zac Bozeman will officiate.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her Husband-Elton Wallace Smith; Parents-Ollie and Bertie Jackson; Siblings-Yvonne Sims, Perry Jackson, Jerry Jackson, Linda Wright and Derek Jackson.

She is survived by her Brother-Mike Jackson (Anita) of Madison, AL; 4 Children-Douglas Dreher (Melissa) of Jasper, AL, Dwain Dreher (Darlene) of Shelby, AL, Darlene Jones (Robert) of Jacksonville, FL and Dion Dreher (Susan) of Cowpens, SC; her 9 Grandchildren-Jessica Williams, Cameron Dreher, Tony Dreher (Lisa), Kayla Dreher, Samantha Jones, Haley Jones, Cody Dreher (Kristina), Caitlyn Sloan (Michael), Chris Dreher and 2 Great-Grandchildren-Karli Williams and Teaghan Barton. She also leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews and friends.

Paulette was an active member of the Haygood Methodist Church in Langston, AL and enjoyed worshiping there for many years.  Mamalette, as she was known to her grandchildren, took great joy in spending time with her family and was immensely proud of all of them.
