Roy T. Woodard, Sr., age 94 of Crane Hill, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Woodland Village Nursing Home.

He was self-employed and a Gideon for many years.  He served as a Deacon at Ryans Creek Baptist Church faithfully.  He served as a medic while he was in the Army.  He was very generous and giving to his family, community, church family and anyone in need.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Ryans Creek Baptist Church, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens.  Grant Dykes will officiate.

Mr. Woodard was preceded in death by his Wife-Hazel Gilbert Woodard; Sisters-Elaine Evans Allred and Wanda Williams; Brother-James Preston Woodard; Parents-John and Lola Woodard.

He is survived by his Daughter-Debra Woodard Cordell (Gaylon Cordell); Son-Roy Woodard, Jr. (Donna Davis Woodard); Grandchildren-Andy Woodard, Brad Woodard, Megan Neighbors; 11 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Andy Woodard, Brad Woodard, Larry Holcomb, Lecil Hancock, Bill Jett and Bruce Hall.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Eagen Woodard, Bill Boyd and Joe Boyd.
