Wayne E. Busbee, age 85 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at his residence.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Chad Beavers will officiate.

Mr. Busbee was preceded in death by his Mother-Grace Busbee; Father-George Busbee; Son-Tim Busbee; Brothers-Larry and Roy Busbee; Sister-Gay Moody; Granddaughter-Jessica Hall; Nieces-Tina and Melissa Petree; Bestfriend and Brother-in-law-Chuck Beardsley.

He is survived by his Wife-Sue Busbee; Daughters-Linda Hall and Jessica Busbee; Sons-Randy Busbee (Karen) and Mike Busbee (Tammy); Sister-Nancy Beardsley; Grandchildren-Amber Buys (Bryan), Allen Busbee (Amy), Kelly Wright (Joey), Billie Clark (Zack), Michael Busbee (Christa), Susan Parrish, Tonya Hall, Roger Hall Jr., Sarah Hall, Rebekah Hall, Tabitha Sheets (Jacob), and TJ Busbee (Diana);The Joy of His Life Great Granddaughter-Lexi Sprinkle; Great Grandchildren-Billy Jenkins, John Robert Busbee, Caleb Busbee, Waylon Busbee, Callie-Jo Busbee, Grace Rolon-Rosado, Michael Norder, David Norder, James Norder, Faith Norder, Elias Sheets, Ezekial Sheets, and Ezra Sheets; Special Aunts-Jimmie Sue Norris and Betty Alexander; Special Nephew-Marlin (Gaylene) Hopson; Nephew-Tom Petree (Christina); Great Nephew-Thomas Petree, Jr.; Great Great Nieces-Ivy Petree and Eve Petree.
