Willard David Hooper, age 56 of Jasper, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at his residence.

Willard "Boo" Hooper was a Journeyman at Plumcore for most of his career.  He enjoyed his work and all of his co-workers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home and Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Edgil Grove Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Edgil Grove Baptist Church.  Burial will be at Edgil Grove Cemetery.  Dwight Forrester and Scott Argent will officiate.

Mr. Hooper was preceded in death by his Son-Dalton Hooper; Father-Rufus Hooper; Mother-Christine Hooper; Brother-Wilford Hooper; Sisters-Wanda Smith and Wendy Hooper; Sister-in-law-Jenny Hooper; Grandfather-George Grove Hooper; Grandmother-Lily Hooper; Grandfather-Lucius Skinner; Grandmother-Recie Skinner.

He is survived by his Wife-Joann Hooper; Daughters-Alita Herron (Jacob), Britnie Hall (Jared) and Tia Capps (Chris); Sister-Wilma "Chris" Barrett (Wayne); Brothers-William Hooper (Natalie) and Winfred Hooper; Grandchildren-Jess, Jason, Isabelle, Torin, Evander, Gage, Avery, Raegan, Riley, Solomon and Baby C; he had an abundance of nieces and nephews.
